Velseis Pty Ltd implemented its original proprietory seismic processing system in 1985 to service the rapidly expanding high-resolution seismic market. The experience gained over the past 15 years means that the Velseis group is now recognised as the Australian leader in high-resolution seismic processing.

Velseis Processing Pty Ltd undertakes the majority of the processing performed by the Velseis group. Velseis Processing comprises a highly respected coal-seismic division, and a rapidly developing oil and gas division. Velseis Processing also provides specialised interpretation services based on GeoGraphix Seisvision software.
 

Velseis Pty Ltd also performs specialised R&D processing using proprietary software running on Unix graphics workstations and a 16-node Linux Beowulf cluster. Current projects include high-resolution converted-wave processing, model-based non-random deconvolution and high-volume finite difference modelling simulations.
